To help raise funds for Operation New Life's surgical missions to
Honduras, we turn to the Remington Gun Club and Remington Arms in Lonoke, Arkansas for our annual
Benefit Shoot. 2010 was our 5th event with the great team at Remington and we had over 150 shooters, supporters and volunteers join
us for a great day of food, friends and friendly competition
- with all the proceeds going directly to support our long-range commitment to the healthcare system in Honduras. For the 2011 event, we will once again meet at the Remington Gun Club for a morning shoot. This year the shoot will be Saturday, June 11th beginning at 8:00. You can click here to go directly to our 2011 event page to learn all about the event, register and even make your event donations.
Over the years, Operation New Life has been blessed to have so many Central Arkansas companies, families and individuals
be part of the annual Trapshoot event. To every single one, we say a huge THANK YOU!!!! For the 2010 event, the logo images and names represent many who have been with us from the beginning, as well as many who have become recent members of the family. If you find the opportunity to visit with or support any of these individuals or organizations, please let them know how much there support has helped us change lives throughout Honduras.
You'll notice the The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission and the Remington Gun Club as main sponsors - both of whom have been an integral part of the event, both sending teams made up of Arkansas Game & Fish enforcement officers and inviting youth teams to be part of the event from the beginning. A special thanks goes out to Chuck Woodson, Coordinator of the Game & Fish's Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program, for his efforts to organize the youth teams, and for his work to provide awesome give-aways for the shooter goody-bags. .
Mark your calendars now for the 2011 event on Saturday, June 11th and help us meet our goal of 150 shooters. Remember, you don't have to be an experienced shooter to have fun ... and you can always direct your contribution to help sponsor area youth teams to the event.
